Ivan
Dinev is the first skater from Bulgaria to land a quadruple toe-loop
in competition (Worlds 1999). He is also the first skater of his country
to medal in a Grand Prix event (Trophee Lalique 1999). When Dinev`s
skating blade broke during the warm up at the Sparkassen Cup in November
2000, he got instant replacement from a skating shop at the rink and
skated this Free Program with blades of two different brands.
During the last season 2001/2002 Ivan Dinev`s ranking at the ISU Grand Prix series lead him for the first time to The ISU Grand Prix Final |
